How this site handles your family’s information

What we collect, and only when you give it.The waitlist form collects your name, email, optional phone number, your child’s first name and date of birth, and your preferred start date. The careers form collects an applicant’s name, contact details, and the professional credentials they choose to share. Nothing on this site collects information in the background; there is no advertising tracking.

Why we collect it. Solely to manage The Hawthorn School’s waitlist, admissions, and hiring. Your child’s date of birth determines program eligibility and fair waitlist ordering — that is its only use.

Who sees it.The school’s own staff, and the platform that operates this site on The Hawthorn School’s behalf. Information is never sold, shared for marketing, or used to train anything. Your private status link is yours: anyone with the link can see your child’s first name and waitlist position, so treat it like a ticket.

Where it lives, and for how long.Data is stored encrypted in Canadian-region or US-region cloud infrastructure. Waitlist records are kept while your application is active and removed on request; hiring applications are kept for the posting’s cycle unless you ask us to keep yours on file.

Your rights. Ask admissions@hawthorn.example at any time to see, correct, or delete what we hold about your family, and we will — promptly, without a form, without a fee.
